TIME MAGAZINE CHOSE THEIR 2017 TIME100 MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.

The TIME 100 honorees include actors, musicians, politicians, business leaders, activists and scientists, and together make a portrait of influence in 2017.

"It is not a power ranking, it is not a measure of wealth, it's a measure of influence. We don't judge in front of being good or bad. There can be dictators in the list, there are pop stars, there are scientists, there are philanthropists. WE LOOK AT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE MAKING THE BIGGEST IMPACTS IN HEALTH, IN SCIENCE, IN ENTERTAINMENT, IN POLITICS all over the world.

We break the list into 5 categories: Icons, artists, pioneers, leaders and titans and then we do a cover page category. To actually get the right mix of a hundred men and women that are truly representatives of every region and the type of influence across the globe - it's no easy task! It's a multi-step process.

We solicit nominations from all of our viewers all over the world, all of our readers. We also ask former members of TIME100 to send us their nominations. Once we get all of those nominations, oftentimes over a thousand, we debate amongst ourselves and would little it down slowly but surely to a group of 100.

Right after the issue is published, we have a huge event of the TIME100 gala to honor everybody on the list and also some of the people on the past list. You will never get this mixed of brilliant scientists, iron-fisted dictators, incredibly talented actors, stunning ang talented musicians and sports stars in one place. In making the list, we seek counsel from the TIME100 alumni, many of whom contributed to this issue." - TIME WRITERS & EDITORS

But here's a floating big question for TIME: How come Philippine Senator Leila De Lima suddenly got included in the TOP100 when she was not initially among the nominees?? Why after the poll her name suddenly got included in the icons category like a magic? How come? Who nominated her and who voted for her? Does it mean, that even in TIME100 polls, the PCOS worked?😂 Was TIME also being corrupted by De Lima and her LP allies to put her name? What's the drama behind the sudden inclusion of her name AFTER the poll without being nominated neither voted??? It smells fishy and it smells money too. How much did it cost to include De Lima's name? 👎👎
